Note: Elsewhere in these FAQs, you may see the arming mode "Arm Stay" mentioned. That description has been updated to "Arm Home" on all systems, in all situations. The bottom line: "Arm Stay" refers to the same arming mode as "Arm Home". We apologize for any confusion.
Use Arm Away when no one will be home. Exterior doors and windows are protected; interior areas can be monitored by motion detectors, if installed.
Use Arm Home to protect exterior doors and windows when the house will be occupied. Interior motion detectors are inactive.
These arming modes are accessible from the app's Home screen and the website's Security screen.
