What does the message “Comm. Failure” mean?

This message means your system is not connected to the Remote Service network.

If you're on the premises, check the panel's cellular and Wi-Fi connections.

  • Make sure your Wi-Fi router has AC power and that the router itself has a working connection to the internet.
  • Make sure the system control panel has AC power or is running on its internal backup battery.

 

If you cannot restore one or both connections, contact your security professional.
