How can I set up email and SMS/Text notifications of security system Events on the Remote Services/Total Connect website?
Please note that the term "Events" may appear in place of "Activity", depending on the version of Remote Services you're using.
These instructions apply to email and SMS/text message notifications only. Push Notifications that appear on your mobile device must be enabled in the app on the device itself.
Go to Settings and find My Profile.

In Email Notifications on the right, make sure the Email Notifications switch
switch is ON.

To add an email address, click ADD EMAIL and enter the address.

To add an SMS/text number, click ADD SMS and enter the number. You will be asked to specify the number's carrier.

Click YES to update your profile and then OK.

When VALIDATE NOW appears next to the new address, click it and check your email and/or text messages for a confirmation message.

Click the link provided or copy the validation key in the message and paste it into the website and click SUBMIT.

If you don't receive the email, click SEND KEY and an email/text with the validation key will be re-sent.
- To delete an email address/SMS number, click the trash can icon on the right. Don't forget to SAVE.
