How can I set up email and SMS/Text notifications of security system Activity (events) on the Remote Services website?

These instructions apply to email and SMS/text message notifications only. Push Notifications that appear on your mobile device must be enabled in the app on the device itself. 
Go to Settings and find My Profile
  • In Email Notifications on the right, make sure the Email Notifications switch   switch is  ON     
  • To add an email address, click  ADD EMAIL and enter the address.  
  • To add an SMS/text number, click  ADD SMS and enter the number. You will be asked to specify the number's carrier.
  • Click YES to update your profile and then OK.  
  • When VALIDATE NOW appears next to the new address, click it and check your email and/or text messages for a confirmation message.  
  • Click the link provided or copy the validation key in the message and paste it into the website and click SUBMIT
  • If you don't receive the email, click SEND KEY and an email/text with the validation key will be re-sent.
  • To delete an email address/SMS number, click the trash can icon on the right. Don't forget to SAVE.
