What does "Prompt for User Code" mean?
With this switch
set to On, Arming or Disarming your system from the app or from the website requires the user to enter their user code.
Depending on the type of control panel in your system, you may have a 4-digit or 6-digit user code.
With the switch set to Off, the mobile app or web browser automatically sends your user code for any operation that requires one, and you need not enter it manually. Note that Arming or Disarming the system remotely alwaysrequires a valid user code; that code must be entered by the user or sent by the app or web browser.
Remember to SAVE your changes; you may be asked to enter your user code to do so. This is not the same as changing the user code that is sent to your system as described above.
